EBCC BARREL AGED BEERS

AMBROSIA KRIEK
$4 - 4 oz. / $7.5 - 8 oz. / $11 - 12 oz.
From our ever-growing library of sour barrels, we picked three of our Sour Red base barrels and added 42 pounds of Red Raspberry puree and 42 pounds of Montmorency Cherry puree. This was then allowed to re-ferment for an additional 5 months before final blending. The results are a classic sour red combination. Barrel Info: Delillle Cellars (Woodinville, WA) and Cuilliun Hills (Woodinville, WA) Time in Barrel: 15-17 Months | ABV: ~5.3%
BOURBON BARREL NOALE
$3 - 4 oz. / $5.5 - 8 oz. / $8 - 12 oz
Originally designed as a “dunkelweisen,” this beer’s recipe has evolved to be brewed at “bock strength.” The decision to age that beer in bourbon barrels brings a little extra good cheer to our holiday ale. Barrel Info: Heaven Hill Bourbon (Bardstown, KY) Time in Barrel: 7 Months | ABV: ~7.9%
PORT BARREL CHOCOLATE PORTER
$4 - 4 oz. / $7.5 - 8 oz. / $11 - 12 oz.
Because everyone loves wine and chocolate, we took our porter made with roasted cocoa nibs and aged it for a year in a fresh port wine barrel. The barrel imparted a rich red wine aroma, flavors of black pepper and sour cherries which pair perfectly with the dark chocolate flavor of the porter. Barrel Info: Sparkman Cellars (Woodinville, WA), French Oak from Cognac Time in Barrel: 12 Months | ABV: ~6.5%.
BREWERS' BLEND #4
$4 - 4 oz. / $7.5 - 8 oz. / $11 - 12 oz.
In our ever-continuing series of Brewers’ Blends, this beer came into being from four different beers. The predecessor, Blend #3, was blended into our whiskey barrel aged porter, stout, and imperial stout. The sour cherry, dark chocolate, charred wood, and bourbon notes are the highlights. Barrel Info: Heaven Hill Bourbon (Bardstown, KY) Time in Barrel: 11-12 Months | ABV: ~8.8%
